Benjamin M. Andrews Operations Manager
Ben is responsible for all areas of operation at Tom Irwin, Inc., including equipment, purchasing, vehicles and infrastructure. Yet he still found the time to serve on the Board of Directors for the New England Sports Turf Managers Association and be an active member of the Sports Turf Managers Association. He has been in the turf industry since 1996 covering all aspects from residential landscape to facilities management. Ben has a B.S. in Soil Science from the University of Massachusetts.
Mike DeForge Maine and New Hampshire
Since joining Tom Irwin in 2004, Mike has worked closely with clients to help them achieve their agronomic and professional goals. He has spent many years in the turf business and has been a part of a construction and grow-in as well as two PGA tournaments. Mike received his Bachelors Degree in Business from Framingham State College.
Jeff Houde Central and Southern CT, Westchester County
Before joining the Tom Irwin team, Jeff worked on New England golf courses for 20 years including 10 years as a Superintendent and General Manager. Jeff received his degree in plant and soil science from Essex Agricultural Institute. He now lives in Connecticut with his wife Susan and two boys, Jackson and Julian.
Chris Kneale Athletic Turf and Grounds, CT, Western MA and VT
Joining the Tom Irwin Sales team in March 2010, Chris is a 2003 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Turf Management. Prior to joining Tom Iriwin Inc. he was the Athletic Turf Manager at Wellesley College and the Grounds Manager at Bentley University. As an active member in the Industry Chris is a member of STMA, NESTMA, CPA, CPRA and has served on the board of NESTMA. Chris grew up in Stowe Vermont and currently resides in Glastonbury CT with his wife Sarah and dog Roady.
Rob Larson Central and Western Massachusetts
Rob has worked as a Golf Course Superintendent in Central MA for 15 years, as well as served on the Board of Directors for the Golf Course Superintendents of New England Association. A graduate of the Turf Management program at the University Of Massachusetts Stockbridge School Of Agriculture, Rob has been a part of the Tom Irwin team since 2001.
Brian Luccini Athletic Turf and Grounds
If you’re responsible for athletic fields, school grounds or parks, you want Brian’s experience and attitude by your side. He’s been involved in turf and grounds maintenance since birth, having been born and raised on Franklin Country Club, in Franklin Ma. After a successful career in Golf Course Management, Brian joined the Tom Irwin team in 2005. Graduating the Rutgers Turf Management Program was the formal beginning of his 25+ years of industry experience.
Greg Misodoulakis Southeastern MA, Cape Cod, RI
Few people can match Greg’s level of hands-on experience, having been in the golf industry for 38 years including 16 years as a Superintendent and 11 years in Turf product sales. He is an alumnus of the University of Massachusetts Stockbridge School of Agriculture and has served on the board of directors for NHGCSA and NEGCSA.
Fred Murray Customer Relations Manager
Fred is responsible for making sure that all of our clients are well cared for when they call the office with any question or concern they may have. Formerly the Superintendent at Maynard Country Club and Wayland Country club, Fred joined Tom Irwin in 2005. An Ohio State graduate, Fred was a Navy Air Crewman search and rescue swimmer with a helicopter squadron based out of Norfolk, VA.
Paul Skafas Northeast MA, NH, VT
For over 25 years, Paul has exemplified the Tom Irwin collaborative approach to helping clients succeed. He has an unmatched record of industry accomplishments, a unique grasp of plant and soil sciences and a comprehensive understanding of industry chemistries. After successfully leading the sales team, Paul was named Vice President of Tom Irwin, Inc., in 2005. He has a rare dedication to finding practical solutions to the ever-changing challenges facing today’s Golf Course Superintendents and Sports Turf Managers.
